Mind you, if it's a long table, it tends to sag in the middle if he sits right there but that's a table top problem, not the legs. The PNLTC standard has been good to us. Transporting the legs, as James brings up, is a drawback, but they can be easily made with a minimal amount of materials beyond the scrap from the table top. And they are very sturdy. I've sat on the tables (...) (25 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)
