Actually, it's funny you mention this... I was trying out a simple chassis the other day, and I had two identical parallel gear trains.. but my robot was still turning, ie: one was a lot faster. Remember guys, "The Plastic Dust Is Normal". Also remember, Lego is very nice about replacing broken parts. I phoned them up and they told me that they would even replace parts that i had stepped on. So here I sit, My X-bot is in smaller and smaller parts. As I get down into the gear trains, and sliders, I notice a LOT of lego dust. There's a reason why I'm dangerous with Solaris, and that's because I'm too used to Windows NT. Today I was doing a df -k on Peachy and noticed my data disk was at 99-100% capacity. Wall current is not the same everywhere. It is not even always the same over time. I measured my wall voltage once, and it was 117. Now it's 120. Most wall wart adapters drop the voltage by a specific amount, so if the designers of a 9v adapter were (...) (23 years ago, 27-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

What a bummer Derek! I would have loved to see your bot run (especially at 19.94 seconds). The worst thing is that Chris would have been bumped down into 3rd place -- non-prize territory! Just ran my bot here at home and I did the anti X in 19.94 seconds with a placement score of 75. (7 perfect, 1 good) I don't know what was so different about the library.
