G'Day Back when i was young(er) i had the same problem, so bought the cheapest umbrellas i could find, around $5, and spray painted the insides, one silver, one gold, one white. (...) Thanks for the feedback, Steve. I did try one wheel, but found that the bot would either track sideways (if the L&R were on the same side) or drag (if both to the inside/outside). Just so there is no worry about game blocks, I'm going to bring a full set of standard game blocks in 10 different colours. I tried my robot with the synchro drive and its not working out for me either, so i think I'm gonna try out the adder/subtractor drive system (...) How are people's experience with those rubber tracks that come with Mindstorms kits? Can they handle alot of weight and still turn? I was at hte Oakville TRU and they had every other set in multiple copies, but no 7706. It was also interesting to see the MegaBlok rep there with the TRU guy talking about product that wasn't moving... I still shook his hand, however--having (...)
