The research i've done shows that a gay scientist found evidence of a gay
gene, but no one has been able to duplicate his results.

How many attempts have been made to corroborate his findings?

he has done it three times himself and succeeded while at least two others
have tried and failed.

Hmm... that leads me to think that he might be baising his data someway
(willingly or unwillingly).

In scientific research, that is a very serious thing.

I don't know about "very serious" such findings are a part of the scientific
process.

When it comes to researhing genetic behavior, especially one of controversy,
care should be taken not to give false hope, or insight unecessary angst.

i've done significanct research into Christianity and have found that the
discovery of gay gene would have serious repercussions throughout society.

care to share some of this research?  i'm curious, I'm not trying to
bait you.

From the Holy Bible:
     Leviticus 20:13
     1Corinthians 6:9
     Romans 1:26-27

While reading these scriptures, it is important to understand the context
that they are being used in.  Homosexuality is described as a practice, as
are incest, beastiality, and adultery.  One *could* argue that there is a
fundamental difference between homosexuality and bisexuality and that the
Bible is really only refering to bisexuality.  Yet the Bible is very
distinct when it says ..."When a man lieth with mankind as he lieth with a
woman...".

Also, the word "effeminate" should be defined... the dictionary says that
effeminate is having the qualities generally associated with a woman.

It is interesting to note that some gay individuals I debated with have
stated that they consider themselves Christian.  It that is so, then it is
safe to assume that they understand the concept of Heaven and Hell described
in the Bible and that one cannot entere Heaven without first acknowledging
sins and repenting of them.

It is very important to understand that the Bible does indeed support the
notion that God hates sin, not sinners.  The whole idea of Christ dying for
mankinds sins and offering the means of forgiveness would otherwise be
somewhat ludicrous.
