A much more interesting contest might be - building instruction of the month.
There are a broad set of techniques that can be applied when it comes to
creating building instructions.  It would be a much richer set of things to
consider, and a much richer set of things to be taught and learned.  Style
matters much more there.

This contest might be a great way to raise the bar on instruction quality. As
you say, presentation style matters a great deal here. One issue is that mine
(and some others) are optimised for printing so any electronic presentation may
not show them in the very best light, but oh well.

I second Lar, this is a great idea, Kevin. I'm excited that the topic of
Building Instructions has gained popularity over the last year or so, with the
release of LPub, launch of BIPortal, etc. This contest could serve to further
promote the idea of creating custom instructions, and that's a good thing.
