I must remind the reader that no credible link has been shown to exist between
Al-qaeda and Saddam Hussein, so any references to "{1,000s of AMERICANS} who
died on {OUR} soil" are irrelevant to the issue of Dubya's decision to send
thousands of US citizens to Iraq. To assert, with no evidence, that a linkage
or equivalence between Iraq and Al-qaeda is simple xenophobia
Further, any would-be-credible link that might now be "found" between Iraq and
Al-qaeda would be 100% suspect, given what we know of Dubya's handling of
intelligence data, as well as his willingness to omit certain facts when
presenting a case.
