Do you honestly swallow all that propaganda? You do realize that it is far
more likely that the Government let the 9/11 attacks succed so they have a
scapegoat for stealing our rights via the patriot act right?
|
I think that may be going a bit far. The government did a poor job of acting
on evidence it had before it, but thats a lot different than actually
letting the attacks succeed. Theres lots of evil afoot but I dont think
things have gotten QUITE that bad here. Yet.

Well consider what has transpired. The Governement has accomplished much that
public opinion never would have allowed prior to 9/11. What have the
perpetrators supporters gained? Why has there not been another attack despite
the fact that the only security increases have been superficial feel good
endeavors to make people think something has changed?

The problem is we need a consistent foreign policy regardless of what that
policy is.
|
Well yes, we need a consistent foreign policy but certain foreign policies,
even if consistent, are not very good ones to have.
|
But they are still better than the inconsistent mess we have now. Why does the
media keep referring to the troops in Iraq as the occupation force?
