(...) I don't want to be picky, but if you're going to complain about people developing gaming rules in here, then I would think this is also the wrong place for an open-ended story/role-playing session. I initially clicked on the link thinking it (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Ikros

(...) Congrats, not many people have the stamina or patience to finish my story, and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. As for Chaos Skies, well, real life has gotten in the way. I'm jobless. I've been so since graduation over eight months ago. In (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: A Gentle Plea

(...) Because fun.gaming was created for all talk of big rules-based games. .Castle is for discussions on MOCs, inspiration, stories, and the like. (...) The argument that "not everyone will see it" has been used to justify most improperly placed (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Crumbled Brick Tavern

(...) Well, stories are implicitly allowed. Also, there is a difference between "role play" and a "role playing game". :) This kind of thing could also be used as inspiration for MOCs or other stories, or better yet, a way for people to refine their (...)   Re: Brainstorming ideas for Game Project....

FYI, I just posted towards this thread, but placed it in .fun.gaming. I agree that is where it belongs. Anyone who wants to mix Lego Castle with gaming is welcome to follow there. Thanks! -H. (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Crumbled Brick Tavern

Oh dear. I think I have to agree with Rocco on this one. I really think the "chat pub" is a great idea. And I can see it having a place in the Castle community. But it is somewhat hypocrytical considering who started it. I mean no offense to the (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: A Gentle Plea

(...) I wish there was less emphasis on number of posts. I have reduced my reading of .castle because of things like the roll call and other posts that just seem to be there to increase the number of posts. I want to see MOCs. I want to see (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Crumbled Brick Tavern

(...) Okay, I opened a big can of worms and then got sick, so I've been away from the computer. First, what is LARPing? I've never seen that one before. Second, yes, I said I don't get RPG's, but then, I don't get a lot of things. (My brothers' (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Crumbled Brick Tavern

(...) Live Action Role Playing, I believe... (...) I'd be more of the mind to say that if this does indeed get to be a high-volume thing, it belongs in its own area. Perhaps a .fun.gaming subgroup or a .castle subgroup... Technically, posts of this (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Crumbled Brick Tavern

(...) I see how this can be argued both ways, on the matter of where to post almost any non-MOC Castle related subject (including those recently mentioned). If the Tavern idea takes off, perhaps we could seek out an alternate group here in lugnet. (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Brainstorming ideas for Game Project....

(...) My proposed idea: make CastleQuest a sub group of Castle. this is where it belongs, because, as i stated in my last post, it is not just a game. if it cant fit in castle OR gaming, put it in between. Also, your putting this in .fun.gaming (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Brainstorming ideas for Game Project....

(...) I am just stirring up trouble left in right lately. Maybe my thoughts are not in line with some of the other posters in .castle or this thread. Should I just stop and not contribute? (I mean these comments with a touch of humor, though if (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Crumbled Brick Tavern

(...) I like this idea. The Blacksmith shop could be turned into a tavern pretty easily. For personalized constructions, people could build surrounding homes and businesses. Frank (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Game Project?

Re: Brainstorming ideas for Game Project....

  Re: A Gentle Plea
