hmm not liking that too much......

how about this suggestion:

If a character dies, why not (if) the player didnt want his character dead,
make him pay X amount of funds to have him revived at a church or something.

.....or make the player do a quest/campaign of some sort to find a magic
item to have his character revived, it doesn't have to be easy, but they
should have a chance to have the dead character revived.

It gives the player a better chance, cuz the (dead) character may have a
skill, that would increase the % of the parties survival.

I think its a reasonable idea......

(...) its a good idea but it would have to cost alot or people would just be able to be indestructable if they were near a church. Also the churches would have to be a good guy church or bad guy church depending on the character. Finally could you (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) It doesnt matter if the player doesnt want one of his characters dead. This isnt the IOM. you have control over the character, but if it comes to combat or harsh elements or something, he dies. The gamemaster desides. I guess an expediton to (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)
