Scott & All,

(Ach, too many Scott's in here! : ) )

Wow. Ranks right up there with that Holocaust series of sets.

Now that I think of it, there's another interpretation of Scott's post
that I don't believe has been considered.  Maybe Scott's point can be
paraphrased as "Wow.  As commentary-in-LEGO, that ranks..."

I agree with this, but I think he meant it to be rather negative.

Not really, as I have said before, they both have that shock value,
regardless of the debate aspects of both subjects. I was shocked when I saw
both, actually.

For the record, I think Scott was not quite correct. In my opinion, the
Holocaust sets can be considered to be "art", whereas I feel Dan's intention
was a jest. Of course, it may be that Dan intended his scene to be a
contemporary satire of the Holocaust sets...

Well, there has been a lot of discussion about what is art or not here and
elsewhere, but I think they qualify under LEGO creations that are controversial.

Both Dan and Scott are good guys, and I’m sure neither of them wanted to
upset anyone.

Dan is a great builder, and it was a neat picture, with the shock value
thrown in. I guess you can look at in this way, that the Holocaust sets were
made, and the Jihad sets were going to be made, but cancelled. I am unusure
why it is misspelled, but I will let Dan expand on that subject, he is the
one who made up the picture. : )

I hope I have not upset anyone, I just threw in my .02 in build, since it
was there.

Scott S.
