Most 10 year olds that like Lego would. (I work in a toy store, trust me on
that one.) I belive your point was how many parents would buy them for kids.

The old service packs were better for that sort of thing. I thought the whole
point of bulk was to allow each of us to build our own mini-lands.

Again the old service packs in differnt colors would benefit small scale
building better. Bulk is for large scale. (at least thats how I see it.)

When half the Lego isle is taken up by Mega Blocks that would generally be an
indicator that something is wrong.
At least we have those cool LD sets and Legends to look forward too. And I
will admit that I plan on getten a few packs of cypress trees. Despite my
critizisms I do like the general direction LD is going. My only real complaint
is that so far bulk purchases of basic elements does not really exisit (yet?)
