I meant that if there was a hierarchy created specifically to echo
mailing lists, I would support the idea of echoing/linking L-CAD on
lugnet. But I have the feeling that this hierarchy would only ever have
two subgroups.

I was mentioning (in passing, I hope) the idea of an ng realignment.
This was in the context of hanging new ng's under lugnet.robotics. I'm
against that, because of l.r's unique nature.

I'd be for it, as long as it wasn't tied directly to lugnet.cad. Make a
new group, lugnet.cad.dev or lugnet.maillist.lcad, or something.

| (...) Steve, You're much more in touch with people's feeling on this issue than I am. I don't really understand the disadvantages...all I see are advantages... But then again, I'm probably biased because I'm not a fan of e-mail for threaded (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
