Well, I'm not the only voice of WAMALUG, but I can confirm that a lot of the
lay-out was modular from many sources within the group. We tried real hard to
keep a balance of differant types of items. We, (WAMALUG) are just lucky to
have many people in the group with large and growing collections of not just
train sets but differant kinds sets in general, (and healthy imaginations).

We still haven't worked out a mountain sceene, though it wouldn't surprise me
if we have it for our third show, (that will either be our second Greenberg
show or our second GATS show,) complete with the obligitory tunnel. I have in
the past made a mountain for my own set up, (but I had 2 sides covered). Kevin
had worked out a preliminary modual of mountain tunnel base, but it wasn't
finished by far. I think we don't know if we will have room yet, but then we
will soon be becoming a draw IMHO, for theese shows. We may be able to ask for
more room for set up.

So, staying modular is a big bonus. It helps with the set-up and tear-down
time. Some other factors are that as time goes by, and some of us move out of
the area, or into the area, we can shift the layout without too much hassel.
Also, as others in the area find us, we would want them to participate, and
there-in lies the best reasons to keep us modular; we aren't gonna draw in too
many new members if can't let them participate in the shows. The last thing
is, that if you get tired of one structure in particular, you can change it
out because you aren't tied to one thing.Nope, not a chance.
Not even one stud or hole, unless you make it yourself.
