I'm just curious on this how people feel about things like magazine
renewal notices. In theory, they are in the same category if anything
other than a notice on the magazine wrapper.

My personal feeling is that I do want to receive renewal notices, but
darn it, don't start sending me them the day after I mail you my check.
Wait until 1 month or so before my subscription expires.

Another annoying one - free magazines that you can never stop. I used to
be interested in EDN, but I no longer have any interst. They keep
coming, despite wrappers which say "renew now".
