I inquired about bulk parts many years ago and the minimum order was 100 pieces and you had to increment in 100 pieces. The prices they quoted for common bulk bricks was extremely cheap, but specialty pieces were another matter, but considering I (...) (26 years ago, 20-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

I bought it: in fact it was the first set I bought after my Dark Ages. (I'm sure this says something about me psychologically, but never mind!) It is OK for parts, it has some nice starter parts if you are into boats (Pirate ships, masts, those brown rope ladder things (Name?)). Simon, Yes, I noticed that as well, in regards to the US & European catalogs. One of the places we get the set names and the like is from the US Shop At Home Service catalog. Hi Jeroen- I'm a parent. My main focus in purchasing Legos has been to purchase sets for my son. His sets span Town, Adventurers, Wild West, UFOs. He saves his allowance (for up to half a year) to purchase sets on his own, or he receives them for (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)
