Specifically, sometime before the first SW sets came out, I discovered
a directory on a web server that was not linked directly, with pics of
every set in high-res.

I got an email (or was it a lugnet posting?) congratulating me on
finding it from a web designer employed by lego.

Retailer catalogue scans have been available, for example on KL's
site, for a long time. I even seem to remember times when Todd
discussed uploading these things with Selcuk, among others.

Personally, I think it's time we _all_ chill out here until we hear
back from Brad Justus about what TLG thinks.

Though I agree with Sproat that once the request is made not to post
questionable info, you do have grounds for at the very least a
temporary suspension of posting privileges.

(...) All calm and rational people have a breaking point (IMHO). What differs is simply the length of the fuse (how long something takes to reach critical mass) and the size of the splat (how big the resulting stink becomes). Other factors of course (...)
