The tubs don't have 2x8 bricks in any color.
They don't have 2x6, 1x6, or 1x8 bricks in green.
There might be other omissions I'm not remembering.

I would also consider the following size of bricks and plates as
"basic", even though they don't come in tubs:
bricks: 1x10, 1x12, 1x16, 2x10, 4x6, 4x10, 4x12, 8x8, 8x16, 12x24
plates: 1x10, 2x10, 2x12, 2x16, 6x14, 6x24
An offering that consisted solely of basic bricks, plates, and tiles
in the sizes and colors that don't come in tubs would be a great start.

| (...) Don't forget 2x2 "corner" (L-shaped) plates and bricks. I consider these to be essentails, even though they don't show up in buckets. And there are always the 1x1x5, 1x2x5, 1x3x5, 1x6x5.
