I can switch between the tiny black and white camera that fits on a robot much better, viewed through the card, and the USB QuickCam Pro golf ball (...) Well, if you are a Mac user, theer are not many choices. 8( You can use POV-RAY, which produces good results, and has a wide array of parts available, but is not terribly intuitive.
