It seems you have a problem most of us would want! ;)

Can I help you sort it out?  My town will need lots of bricks in order for
each building to be architecturally sound...

Which reminds me, I haven't seen a discussion on piece-sorting for a • while.

After buying all the SW sets (1), I have well over 1.8 jazillion pieces • to
sort, categorize, and cram into my soon-to-be-overflowing drawer • system.

I reached that point about a year ago. I have a bunch of sets sitting in • boxes

Has this new theme caused anyone to re-think their organization system? • I

Ugh.  By original set?  Blech.  No system is really perfect, I guess.  I • just
need to increase the capacity of mine by an order of 4 or so.   (just to • be
'safe' for a while)

When you reach the "point of no return" which I have (and probably Terry • also),
sorting in and of itself becomes way to labor intensive.  I end up with • buckets that
are nothing but bricks of assorted colors, with the windows, fences, • slopes, rounds,
clears, arches, tiles  and desireable specialty pieces removed.  I have • about 40 lb
of unused specialtly pieces that isn't even worth the bother to go thru. • I just
don't have the time to even sort it for auctions, etc.  Sometimes I feel • badly
because someone will ask if I have a specific piece for trade.  Well • looking thru
several hundred boxes, buckets, etc, gets to be pretty crazy, and time • consuming.
I'm to the point where I will no longer buy regular bricks because I have • so many of
them still unsorted.

Tired of sorting,
Gary Istok
