It was more than just a rumor, actually.  I'd call it an "account"
from a reliable source.  There is also rampant speculation on the • subject
too, of course, since the results of it are so clear.  It's *so* • wonderful
that the SW sets are not juniorized -- not even a BURP!

The hinge bricks are a bit large and the rear landing gear on the X-wing
sucks, but the rest of the pieces make up for it.  Otherwise, I agree
with you completely!

(...) I just got the Droid Fighter, Naboo Fighter, Sith Infiltrator, Anakin's Pod, and the Mos Espa Podrace. I built them in that order. Reactions: D.F.: Cool little set.. got it mainly for pieces. Not really impressed with the modeling of the (...) (26 years ago, 10-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

(...) Really? Considering what they do, they are a decent size. I don't think that plate-based hinges could deliver the 'clicking' function of these hinges. And they need to have (at least) a 1x2 footprint for stability. A 1x1 would wiggle around (...) (26 years ago, 11-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)
