I went to bricklink, and they have all the sets--what is it, 8375--I just want the motor and don't want to pay for the rest of the parts that I already have a plethora of... so if anyone had extra 9 volt geared (...) Well, in a surprising upset, a complete newbie to the LEGO robot building and entering in an rtl competition (that I remember--I could be wrong...) so, its after midnight. i figure i am going to be smart, and use a beam to press down one side of that 6AA battery box switch. i attach the power..... NOTHING. I check with a volt meter. NOTHING. Can someone bring a couple of 3/8" washers? I'll be bringing my BoP playfield as a just in case, but plan to leave it in the van unless needed. Since Brickfest I've had non-stop work from LEGO (including stroyboarding what turned out to be six TV commercials) and I finally finished everything today.
