The vouchers was a great idea--you send your kid to whichever school system
you're most comfortable with, whether it's run by your church or someone
else, or even home schooling, and your tax dollars goes to that school
system. In this way there is competition amongst the school boards to
provide the best education for your child *and* you are comfortable sending
your kid there.
Ah but there's that 'Separation of Church and State' thing (and the
unions--always the unions...)
Denied!
Oh well... what's next.
