Dan, why don't you agree with their attacking the Israelis?  If I were • certain
that your side of their behavior were the most accurate rendition of what's
going on, I would have full support for their violence.

Because violence begets violence, hates begets hate. The only way to
overcome it and live in peace is to not play the game. But how can the
Palestinians overcome a bunch of racist, exclusionist thugs like the
Zionists especially when they are strongly supported by the most powerful
nation in the world?

When I go down your list of circumstances after "imagine your," I hope that • my
response would be during my calm moments to insist that the world community
show the invaders the door (for a little while, before moving to plan two).

Well, how many resolutions/motions to condemn Israel have there been in the
U.N.? How many has America and the U.K. struck down? It's all too apparent
that the world minority is deciding for the world majority. Is that • democracy?

Plan two (or sooner if I got hopped up) would be to start whacking the
invaders, to form specialist squads, and wage a guerrilla war against them • in
an attempt to make the occupation too costly.

That's what the PLO thought, but replace "specialist squads" with
"terrorist" and you suddenly have a PR war as well. And then we get back to
violence begetting violence.

As I have advocated select barbarism in the past, this is a perfect example • of
when I would rather become a devil (or a casualty) than a slave.

Well said, but this is why we have this ongoing crisis. The Palestinians
don't want to run anymore and many Jews don't have anywhere to go. But
rather than live with their Arab brothers, the Zionists decided long before
1948 to expell them and take over the area. If the Zionists had it
completely their way (and even David would verify this), Israel would extend
through Jordan way into Iraq, would include much of northern Saudi Arabia
and Egypt, and most of Lebenon and southwestern Syria. This was, and perhaps
still is, the manifest destiny of the Zionists.

That's ridiculous.
