Heh, that's what I was thinking. It's kind of ironic that they would go
against their own policy and market toys that in their creed 'advocate personal
or mass destruction'. But that's good isn't it? There should at least be some
sense of reality in lego, because without militarization in castle, star
wars or westerns, are people going to engage in karate fights and jyudo matches
to determine superiority? Sounds kind of ficticious, and unrealistic.
Why not create a militaristic theme if they go against their own creed anyway?
Anybody can make a lego cannon out of 1x1 cylinders, so marketing something
cool like lego reneditions or aircraft or naval carriers would be a great idea.
Not only that, but they have some sort of historical precedence, so they
could market them in that fashion. Now, if only to see some cool german
panzer faction tank remakes, that would be great. No need to buy our Gi Joe
when you have uncle sam.
