I believe that LOM was created as a theme to "fill the gap" between
Starwars EP1 and Starwars EP2.
It came out just after the hype of EP1 finally died off.
It disappeared just before EP2.
Regardless of why TLC made it, its almost certain they discontinued it
because of EP2. (the old "marketing says 'space' would take sales from Star
Wars so we cant do it" line)
