That was common in the instructions of old. I had forgotten
about that until I had downloaded the instructions from 565,
my 1st set I can remember. Each step had the studs upon which
bricks were to be attached highlighted. Not that that is
desirable nowadays, but on some of the big sets, where the
model has progressed to a large size, it would be handy to
have those highlights. Such as when you have to attach a few
1x1 plates, and the instructions show you a model with a 1000
or so studs available!

| (...) I just thought of another thing -- little sets almost never tire me out -- and neither do little within a big set. What really exhausts my brain is the large building instruction booklets -- because I have to compare each step with the (...) (26 years ago, 8-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)
