If I were to post the results of this script:
#!/usr/bin/perl
for ($i=0;$i<1000000;$i++)
{
printf "http://www.lego.com/catalog/images/set384x288us%06d.jpg\n", $i;
}
to LUGnet, and some of the links that result happen to not have links on any
of Lego's linked-from-the-main-page pages, would I be in violation of Lego's
new statement?
(Or, am I in violation already?)
(What if the script were a bit more complicated and first browsed
http://www.lego.com/ to find the base image pattern rather than hardcoding
it? Better or worse?)
Or, what if I just suggest that hey, you can look at images of sets directly
by following an obvious and furthermore obviously intuitive pattern?
I'm sure that this last one, at least, is covered by the first amendment.
And I've got pretty strong suspicions about the others.
