As supplies of Blueprint t-shirts begin to lower, I'm thinking of doing a new set of shirts: Options are: a) a grey shirt (~$12-15) b) a dark blue golf shirt suitable for business casual day at the office. I recently got 3 Plano 3730. This is the deep one with the yellow latches. Two of the three where missing 2 of the divider slots in the front compartment. A couple of suggestion on the proposed rules: "The rope will hang roughly 12" from the floor." I think this needs to be a more exact measurement...because of the reaching-up aspect, the differerance between 11" and 13" could be the difference (...) I have no problem with spooling. it would be a valid way to solve this. maybe an easier way to phrase the rule set would be to read: -your entire robot must be higher then 11 feet off the ground. this would allow spooling, and make sure people life (...) (...) The is why Chris' makes a good point when he says the winning robot should be the one that hits the top mark first, not passes the lower mark. I have kind of a nagging question about rtl16: The rules as discussed so far do not prohibit one from simply grabbing the bottom of the rope and then twirling the claw, thus wrapping it up.
