I was going to be unconstructive and suggest you bring a mixed box of lego and
get the kids to sort it. Worst case, you end up with the same mess, best case
you get your lego sorted.
But seriously, it depends so much on how old these kids are and how much
experience they have with lego technic. If they're 6 years old or less, or have
no experience, getting them to build anything in less than an hour is pretty
much impossible. You'll have to go in with pre-built devices. How about a live
event? Maybe with the R/C buggy?
