for you wayne,  we'll install a special elevator.  everyone else can climb the rope,
but your robot just has to ride the "special" elevator to the 12' mark.


ok, all kidding aside.

I did a VERY quick (10 minutes), mock up and used a few tires counter rotating, and
powered by two motors.  it seemed to suck the rope right into it.

now, I did not add a power pack,  nor did I cross brace the structure, but I did not
feel too bad about what I saw.

lets hear what others have to say.
