Good arguments, but I think they could have been two instead of three
plates high. The worst one though, is the hinge used for the X-wing
canopy. It could have been a plate, which would make it easier to place
things behind the pilot.
Don't get me wrong though, these are great sets! Even my mother noticed
that these sets "have little pieces again" (ie, no SPUDs). (She also
noticed the R2 wasn't quite as "cute" as in the movies)

It's easily improved though. If anyone comes up with a really nice
design for landing gear, please post it.
