Here’s two problems that have been bothering me almost ever since I started raytracing, but now I simply have to have them fixed to get on with my webpage: First one: When I use L3PAO with the Lgeo library turned on (-lgeo –o) the resulting Pov-ray (...) I'm no expert in this field, but in POV, the surfaces is higly reflective, so if the angle of the light is too flat, no light will reach the camera at all (it'll just be reflected up and down between floor and celing. Hello all. I have uploaded the radiosity settings I have developed to Brickshelf. It is called "FastRad" because it's very fast and very good. There are 7 files you need. Okay, I'm not quite sure what you mean, so I'll just tell you what to do to fix the problem. In the 'Command Line' type: "+KFI1 +KFF4 +KI1 +KF4". If you're a fan of sky_sphere illumination, you could have just cranked the value a bit. It'll be near the bottom of ldraw_radiosity.inc, under these lines: #if ( LDRAW_RAD_LEVEL > 0) #if ( LDRAW_SKYSPHERE = 1 ) There will be a gradient value for (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

What you all think of POV-RAY 3.6? Should we update to 3.6 or keep with 3.5 or 3.1g? I use 3.5 for windows but i prefer the 3.5 for cygwin but without cygwin. Niels - Looks nice! On some of my older 2x2 wheel bricks there is a gap which allows the axle to be removed and/or snapped into the brick. Well, I just gave it a try, and here are the results: (2 URLs) Since Peeron lists the dually (or double) tyre as partnumber 7b, I used 7b.dat for this tyre. I don't know the partnumber for the dually wheel, I used 20b.dat for now. These yet (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

how does this sound?: due to the fact that most patterned slopes arent in lgeo, maybe a pov code within the patterned parts to create the bump effect when exporting into povray. does this sound good? im guessing a good example would be using color (...) So why does my monitor come in at about 1.7 on the first chart, and 2.4 on the second? I'll accept that the second makes it far easier to find the best match, but I won't accept that my estimate is off by 0.7 on the first chart. There's absolutely (...) Hi all, I have a problem and no idea hox to fix it. I'm working on a notebook with active tft-display. Rendered pictures seem to be brilliant with enough brightness and contrast.
