Lars, I think I remember someone saying that L3P does or would support the extended Meta-commands of LDLite (ie, translate, rotates, etc.) Is that true? Tim, All you need is Macromedia's Flash. They do offer a demo for download that has a 30 day limitation. The actual program costs something like $250.00 (US) I think. I'm going on memory here. As for how it works, think of a timeline. Everything (...) (26 years ago, 11-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

when i said i was lousy. i ment at the formulae, not the basic math. i do not know enough to write a renderer or anything but i know enough to be able to figure out the right sizes of quads to put in to my parts. i did get an A in maths for my TEE (...) swuid cache is the proxy server that they have at my internet connection (murdoch university). i pulled the roadplate files off cad.dat yesterday and they are most definatly not the same roadplates i currently have in my parts folder. (26 years ago, 10-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

usually what i do is have ledit open on the part as well as a text editor. i edit the part mostly using a text editor. some things like studs are easier positioning using ledit. i have checked the parts in ldlite as well. i even looked at with (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

1.what is wrong with my road curves? i am now making the curves with a sufficient number of segments to make them look good. how accurate should the raised baseplate be? it is accurate to about 2-3 LDU in most cases. also i notice that the big part authors (steve bliss,chris dee, john vanzwietsen etc) are staying out of this discussion. is there a reason for this? what do (...) i can understand that some of the parts i am constructing are crap. several things: 1. i am lousy at coordinate geometry especially in a 3d plane like ldraw. 2. i have no lego and the only person i know who has lego does not have most of the parts (...) i have examined the part form all algnes in both ledit and ldlite and have tried everything to do to fix the problem. what i am saying is that the reason the walls are not showing up is not a problem with my part file... i think that it ay be a (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Excuse me? Not your problem? If I understand this correctly, Ryan is saying that the walls of the plate do not appear in LEdit when viewed at some angles/scales.
