I know from experience that it takes a lot of concentration to figure out
exactly where everything needs to go.  However, I think I'm pretty good
at visualizing things in three dimensions, so I'm not that lousy.  If you
are lousy at 3-D geometry, how will you ever make an accurate part if
that's all LDraw part-making is--a bunch of 3-D geometry?

Instead of 'threatening' that you'll stop making parts, please figure out
some way that you can improve the way you've created parts up to now.
For example, borrow the part you want to model and compare it to a few
other parts so that you know what the diffences are.  Measure the parts
you're LDrawing with parts of known measures, etc.

i can understand that some of the parts i am constructing are crap. several things: 1. i am lousy at coordinate geometry especially in a 3d plane like ldraw. 2. i have no lego and the only person i know who has lego does not have most of the parts (...) (26 years ago, 10-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
