Hi everyone - I just thought I'd post to say that I am leaving LUGNET for a while. I never understood why people leave this place to take breathers until this week, but believe me when I say I need a BIG one. The problems, the garbage here is just (...) Oops, it happened again. I was uploading s\x460s02, and I forgot to click on the "parts\s" checkbox, and it gave me a blank screen again. It uses http for everything, basically it grabs a text file from ldraw.org with a list of all parts and the dates they were updated (the text file has comments). The parts are gzipped to save bandwidth, it's pretty slow because it downloads a ton (...) (23 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

Work with the subparts in whatever ldraw CAD program you prefer, then use one of the (now many) inliner tools to inline them at the very end when you're finished with the part. If you (...) Sorry about that, that this wasy my 1st attempt at a .mpd file. Try it now. I've fixed the problem. As for a scan of the shed,... hum... no idea? Is there anywere I could get the original Ldraw parts in zip form? I want to move Ldraw from the family computer to my computer, which doesn't have internet. All I have are 3 1/2 inch floppy disks. If I compress the floppy, I still need 10 kilobytes (...) (23 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

I wrote a program to update the LDraw library from ldraw.org about 1 year ago and Jacob even set up a directory for it on the website (don't know if it's linked to the parts tracker now). I've sent it to a few people for comments but the project (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

Hello Tore, first i was a little bit shocked but then I went to hunt down the bug. I had a problem with parsing the subpart if there were double-space between the numbers and a calculation bug too ;). It's fixed now. I didn't use your code (mine is (...) Since I use Wanadoo as provider, I could not access www.ldraw.org. Marc Klein (thanks again Marc) gave me the solution: a problem with Wanadoo's DNS. Instead of using default DNS in my TCP-IP configuration, thus using Wanadoo's, I manually entered (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

Bug in MLCAD 2.12 Model names are invlaid if they have spaces. EX. I created a model and called it 'Train Shed Part 01.ldr'.
