No problem.
Technic is one of many themes of Lego but many see it as the most distant from
the traditional brick, and of late with design innovations, has distanced it
self even further. Technic styled Lego was introduced almost 40 years ago with
simple gear and axle combinations giving childeren insight into mechanics and
potentially to expand the age of interest of childeren in Lego resulting in
extended revenue and broader markets. To Date there have been almost 600 unique
technic sets produced not including technic sets that reside in other themes
such as Mindstorms, Discovery and Racers. In many peoples minds; Technic also
has a sub-theme called Bionicle which has over 200 unique sets and some say is
responcible for the rejuvination of revenue for The Lego Group. Technic Lego is
also becomming commonly used in non Technic sets. Tell me you haven’t noticed
those little Blue Axle Pins ? They’re Technic !!!
So, I know that’s brief, but i hope i have provided enough detail.
