Hey everyone! It's about that time to have ourselves a train show! I am a little concerned about the schedule though. Dollar General (at least the one at 10th and Girl School Road) had a lot (~40) of the Lego Battle Droid sets (2 droids and a droid commander) at 2 for $1.. .sorry they're all gone.. I was a lillte concerned with this abbreviated set-up time also. Does Mark have the sign up list for Saturday morning? The only concern I see is that the setup time has been cut by an hour and a half on Friday (we usually get until 9pm to set up). Access to the building has nothing to do with "clout or leverage". It is a matter of security for the venders and train displays. I have an Aiptek Mini cam which runs off AA' or off of usb power...wish I had an X10 cam... but I do hax an X10 transmitter/reciever which is ~10 studs wide and would look like a satelite dish in a train flatbed, is runs off of a 12V DC positive (...) Depending on the number of kids (if they are relatively few) we could use the club bricks. where is the camp? are we to designate a site? I know that a few years ago, Yahoo aquired Geocities. I have a Geocities account, so will that ID work in the Yahoo thing? For what it's worth, Centerline Products currently makes an L-gauge brass track cleaning car. (As far as I know, they are the first non-LEGO compnay to make an L-gauge product. I've missed helping with a few shows with BayLTC this year, due to work, and my summer vacation. (As I type, I'm at work, in Tel Aviv, after a 13-hour day...)
