Greetings IndyLUGers,
Just returned from our St. Louis Christmas pilgrimage to celebrate the Holiday
with family. While there we stopped by West County Mall for purposes other than
LEGO, and much to my delight they had a LEGO Kiosk with some of 10027 Train
Sheds at 40% off! So I picked up a couple for myself and a few for anyone in the
club who has been wanting one. Let me know if your interested and I'll bring
them to the GATS on Saturday. $48.27 is the total for each including the 7.325%
tax the Missouri governor took directly out of my pocket. Email me if you want
one.
I also stopped by the LEGO Display at the National Our Lady of the Snow Shrine
in Belleville Illinois on my way home this evening. They had bilboards all over
the highway advertising the show. It was pretty cool with some life size
figures and animals in the Manger Scene. Some group out of Seattle it seems is
responsible for these. The COLTC train/city layout was good also. However, to
see the COLTC Cathedral in person was worth the out-of-the-way drive all by
itself! Outstanding model! I took some 35mm pics since I didn't have my
digital camera with me.
