Hey. Remember me? I show up every six or eight months, talk about doing
something cool, then dissappear.
Well, I'm back. :)
I was hoping to get the train-mounted camera working, but the camera I have has
a built in base (rather large) and requires 12vdc. It doesn't work with 9v (I
tried it) As much as I think it's a cool idea, I don't think this is the camera
to use. :(
But, I have something else to offer...
I have a working robot that can play Connect-Four. Ok, so it doesn't really fit
into a train layout, but it's quite fun to see and play. I took it to the First
LEGO League state tournament in Ft. Wayne on Saturday, and it was playing
against kids for the whole day.
It's not quite ready to run without me watching (in case something goes wrong)
but I'll be home for two weeks over the holidays, so I should be able to clean
up a few things. Worst case, it only runs while I'm there.
What do you think? Can you find a place for it?

| Hi Steve, That's a bummer about the camera. I thought that was a really cool idea. The Connect Four robot sounds really cool too. I don't speak for the whole club, however, I don't know if the GATS show is the best venue to exhibit it. Let's hear (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)
