Various MOCS for October GATs in Indianapolis, etc.

Hi folks! IndyLUG is preparing a layout for the October GATS that has a lot of new stuff. So I'm posting the MOCs I've created so far for the layout on Brickshelf, with more to come. The main MOC is the courthouse I first showed at Brickfest 2004: (...) (20 years ago, 28-Sep-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: Badges for the club

(...) I think it would be great to get a badge. They didn't have them at Brickfest when I went in 2001, so I don't have one yet. Someone should ask about the club discount and maybe we could put an order together in a week or so. -L (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, FTX)

  Re: Badges for the club

(...) Yes, we who have been to a Brickfest do have the advantage as far as getting a badge, since we already have one. So far I think that Eric, me, John, Brian Darrow, Steve Hassenplug, and Robert Miles have badges from previous Brickfests. I think (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, FTX)

  Re: Badges for the club

(...) I'm planning to use my Brickfest badge for future events. I don't have it in front of me, but it has my name, my city/state, and "IndyLUG" on it in red/yellow/blue bricks. Eric (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, FTX)

  Badges for the club

The guy who makes the engraved name badges for Brickfest just announced his new website: (URL) I think it would be a great idea for everyone to get a personalized badge some time in the future.   Re: IndyLUG sweeps the awards at BrickFest 2004

(...) In all the excitement I forgot that Eric also won a 4th level prize (The Santa Fe Super Chief). He showed that it can really pay off to know how to spell "Pieniazek". (20 years ago, 19-Aug-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, FTX)

Re: IndyLUG sweeps the awards at BrickFest 2004

I also got lucky on Sunday, and took first place in the regular Sumo event, not to mention getting my ticket drawn on Friday to win a Harry Potter castle, and my name drawn on Sunday to win a Knights Kingdom castle.   IndyLUG sweeps the awards at BrickFest 2004

Well, I guess we really didn't "sweep" the awards; there were plenty of other people from other LUG's who received awards too, but in comparisson to the number of IndyLUG members who were at Brickfest, we did very well. John Kyle won 2 awards in 2 (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, FTX)

(...) Everything should come in light-grey. And purple. And trans-purple. Oh, and can't forget dark-purple. Anyways, if you order 1000 of them, you can get brown ones for ten cents each on Bricklink (I'm really starting to get curious about how (...)   Re: Zoo area for GATS

  Re: Zoo area for GATS

(...) I was also thinking about putting a pedestrian gate near the middle of the wall. The nice thing about using the castle wall standard is that anyone can contribute a single baseplate-length of wall. I propose using primary and secondary colors (...)   Zoo area for GATS

Hi all, I would like to pass on some ideas that I had for the Zoo in the upcoming GATS layout.
