I'm seriously concerned about the possibility of Dr. Dino being a danger
to himself or others. Perhaps an intervention is in order.
However, at the bottom of the page Dr. D does make an interesting and
absolute refutation of literal readings of the Bible when he indicates:
GODISNOWHERE
There are two obvious readings of this quip: "now here" and "nowhere," and
presumably Dr. D would posit this as some sort of "half-full/half-empty"
litmus test of one's heathenism.
In the Koine Greek in which several of the Gospels this same kind of
letter jumbing is common and wreaks havoc with efforts at translation and
even simple attempts to read the texts. With this in mind, it should be
obvious to a critical thinker that "the Word" is no longer the same now as
it was written. The jumbling above is a polarized example, but it merely
highlights the problems of interpretation present even in straightforward
texts. Therefore, it is literally impossible to assert the literal truth of
the Bible, since we as modern readers have no way of accessing the "literal
truth" of the text.
This is a problem in addition to the idiocy postulated by those who
believe man and dinosaurs walked the Earth together.
