That's why I went into my dark ages... buying toys became too embarassing.
Luckily it doesn't matter so much when you're older... :) I'm 22 and spend
more time in toy stores now than I did when I was 8... <G>
The other good thing is if I do get funny looks I can always say "something
for the kids" or something like that... even though I don't have kids... ;)
In any case, try not to worry too much about what other people think. I know
it's tough, but you'll come to realize that it really doesn't make any
difference if some dude you're never going to see again gives you a strange
glance. And just remember, you're not the only person in your teens (or
older) who buys Lego.
Hehehehe... I actually get annoyed now when I see kids shopping in the Lego
aisles... :) Especially when they pick up the last of a set I want... <G>

| Hey Erin, Here's my $.02 I'm 25, so a bit older than you. This may or may not apply, but it's my feelings on the issue. I guess I fall into the "should be embarrassed" catagory, since I am probably too young lookign to have kids with LEGOs, and too (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)
