Not parts, because all files in the library (parts, primitives, subparts,
shortcuts, composite parts, component parts) should be covered equally by the
terms.
But I see your point about avoiding DAT. How about I just remove the DAT?
. LIBRARY: the set of files, distributed by ldraw.org, and labeled as
. the 'LCAD Parts Library'.
.
. WORK: A file which is used to model LEGO-style elements in the LDraw CAD
. system.

#5 means that the licenses given by the contributors to ldraw.org
would 'lapse', so ldraw.org would no longer have any further permission to use
the contributed work.
#6 means that the user licenses would still be in force, even though ldraw.org
no longer distributes the library.
These items should be reworded/clarified. Probably they should be
consolidated into a single item:
. 5. If ldraw.org permanently ceases to publish or distribute the Library,
. all licenses granted to ldraw.org, for contributed works in the library,
. will lapse and expire and cease to exist. User licenses previously
. granted by ldraw.org will remain in effect.

You forgot #3:
3. If a contribution is accepted, the rest of these terms are invoked.
Probably not the best wording all around. Maybe if #7 is changed to:
. 7. Works accepted by Ldraw.org will be included in the Library.

| Have you covered the case where a parts author submits a new part for review, but because of errors the part is rejected? I think you should still have ldraw.org retain rights to modify and distribute, so that someone else could clean up the file (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
