There is no clause that says its ok to divulge personal information if you
didnt know the person did not want it divulged. In fact it says exactly the
opposite. If you dont specifically have permission it is wrong.
Friends could perhaps take liberties based upon knowledge but given that Larry
and I have never met it was clearly wrong of him to tell the community in
general anything about me even if he feels it is already known by my friends and
acquaintances. It would be wrong if a run of the mill user did this, however it
is particularly egregious when it is a violation by an administrator. Given that
his actions had consequences there can be no doubt left that it was a violation.
