I am flabbergasted by this thread. I have no animosity toward Ken. I made a
joke, nothing more, and it was directed at whoever wrote the copy, as I pretty
clearly stated then. It fell flat, apparently, because no one else riffed on it,
but oh well, that's how some jokes go. If it gave offense to Ken, I am sorry,
but it was not my intent.
Moreover, why *should* I have animosity toward Ken? Because I warned him that he
was getting close to a timeout with his actions? No way. Hate the sin, love the
sinner, I think it goes.
I think the notion that an admin would (or should) have animosity toward someone
that they had to warn about something is, frankly, ludicrous, and pretty
precisely the wrong attitude to have about admins. Admins should carry out admin
actions without personal feeling and without any followon residue. I actually
think I'm pretty good that way, although apparently not everyone feels that way.
As for some of the wilder stuff in the rest of the original post, I have no idea
what Ken's talking about yet.
Note, I've ForceFUT all the posts in this thread to just admin.general. The
original post is wildly off topic for a number of the groups it was posted to
and is an example of excessive crossposting. There have been numerous complaints
about that in the past including recently. I wish I had time to go forceFUT
everything posted in the last week that's off topic for where it was posted...
sigh.
