(...) I think you've already guessed, correctly I might add. A shim is just something that slide in between two other things to make it fit, or make a little more snug, or whatever. Very generous space for trains! Though I DID notice that if you pay by cheque it's now 1.54. So no savings there. Credit cards come in about the same now. Cheaper if we get it on a good day. Hi, I've finally discovered a way to see the studs clearly in Track Designer. I'm using Windows 98, so I cannot guarantee this to work for other systems! I just rescued two doors from the dumpster at our complex. One has a hole in one side (as well as doorknob holes) but they are good enough to be covered in baseplates and skirting.
