Groupware is a nice idea.

It's just that I've never seen or heard of any implementation yet
which, _especially_ in the area of email delivery (which is
ridiuclously high-volume compared to almost all other groupware
traffic), doesn't suck petrified Utah-raptors through McDonalds
straws.
If you have to have groupware, have a dedicated server range with quad
Xeons for Notes/Exchange, and run the email through a Sun box. Or even
a single=pentium-non-MMX linux/sendmail box.
Seriously. I've heard of one admin who was running Bloats on a Quad
Xeon P-II-550 with the works, who secretly rerouted email traffic
through a spare P-166 box running linux, and only got complaints when
people noticed a few months later that the server never crashed
anymore.
I know of similar examples involving NT Server 4 fileserving and
linux/samba.
