I always think I've lost a piece or that one is missing when I'm building a new
set. I'm just paranoid like that. If I can't find a piece right a way I
actually have these very minor panic attacks (my heart rate picks up slightly,
nothing major). I've never been short a piece though, in something like 50
sets. The closest I've come was one of the Ice Planet sets I got awhile back .
. . the set had a pair of wings and instead of including a right and left, it
gave me two of the same. I simply returned it to the store for another one.
In a side note, I once bought a plastic model kit (one of those ones that
you have to glue together) and there was a piece missing. Something small and
not terribly insignifcant. Anyway . . . I wrote to the company, requesting a
replacement part and they sent me another complete model, sealed box and
everything. How's that for customer service?

| (...) Cheaper than finding out what part it was, exactly, that Idiot Customer[1] lost, finding it, and sending it, presumably. Jasper [1] No offense to you personally, but if you've ever worked in a customer-facing situation, you know what I mean.. (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

| I bought a 8299 Search Sub on discount yesterday and the pneumatic workcylinder was leaking right the first time I used it. I replaced it with one of my own, but will call LEGO Benelux monday. Rengenier (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
