Several people have noted that ZB has the 4565 train on sale for $99.99... Well, I called around this morning, and my local one didn't seem to have them on sale. Great ideas Erik! Only you've got the wrong Italian city for the Ponte Vecchio. It is actually in Florence. The Ponte Vecchio bridge is very interesting because on top of the bridge are 2 galleries, the lower gallery consists of shops and stores, (...) (...) Well, actually, if you battery or RCX power your 9V motor, you can run it on 4.5V track... If I was converting from 4.5V to 9V, I would just abandon all the 4.5V track, and go all 9V track. I have some problems with making a town with a train running through. The straight tracks fit perfectly on the baseplates but the curved ones won´t fit! How do you solve this problem? As the winner of the first hopper Lar constructed for auction in the Gary Louie Memorial Auction, I can testify to the model's merit.
