As a direct result of Larry Pieniazek's off the cuff "couldn't be done" remark
of a few days ago, I posted pictures of my massive steam locomotive with 4-8-8-
4 wheel configuration that I have just built over the weekend. At 68 studs
long (not including the tender) this is probably the largest amatuer-built Lego
locmotive in existence! Check it out on my site and feel free to post
feedback!

I am trying to use the old large wheels from sets 194, (URL) , 390-2, (URL) , 96 (URL) , articulating 38 wheels around a Lego track has been… interesting, I (...)
